Born of the union of our No. 8 Dry Gin and vintage Hunter Valley fortified casks, this new era barrel aged gin dances delicately from modern Australian gin through to fortified elegance. Autumn hues accentuate its vibrant colour, while its nose and palate journey from juniper origins through raspberry and candied apple, onto a sherry finish. Best savoured over ice or with elderflower tonic.

BOTANICALS

Juniper, coriander, angelica root, cardamon, apple, raspberry, chamomile and cinnamon.

MATURATION

Matured for six weeks in ex-Hunter Valley fortified wine barrels (European Oak).

A VERY SPECIAL COLLABORATION WITH PRUDENCE DEMARCHI

Inspired by the beautiful acrylic artworks of local Newcastle artist Prudence DeMarchi and noticing a synergy between her abstract, organic forms and colours and our beautifully delicate Barrel Aged Gins, a natural partnershipp was born.

We commissioned works by Prudence to reflect the unique colours of our gins imparted by Hunter Valley ex-fortified wine barrels.

The result was 5 beautifully unique works (hand framed by her talented husband), from which we designed the label sets for our limited release Barrel Aged Gins. To emphasise the texture and colour of Prudence's works, we decided to keep the artwork at it's original size on the label - it's so close you can see the gentle weave of the canvas.

Picture it. You’ve just purchased your brand new bottle of next generation No. 8 Dry Gin (which looks fantastic in your liquor cabinet by the way) but… now what?

As great as our No. 8 is chilled over ice, how could we ever say no to some inspiration for something a little ... extra.

WINTER SMASH

One of our most popular new cocktails from our winter menu, this delightful cocktail is easy, breezy and sure to hit the spot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60ml No. 8 Dry Gin
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup
  • basil leaves

METHOD

  1. Gently muddle basil in a mixing glass
  2. Add remaining ingredients, fill with ice and shake
  3. Fine strain over ice in a rocks glass, garnish with basil

How will my order be shipped?

 

We ship our orders with Australia Post, with orders dispatched Monday and Thursday of each week. Due to current issues with delivery timeframes we no longer offer Express Shipping, ensuring you aren't disappointed due to possible delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

How is my order packed?

 

Here at Earp Distilling Co. we know how disappointing it can be to receive a package you've been hanging out for to open it and find it broken. We hand pack all of our orders with care and have taken extra effort to use recyclable, compostable and sustainable packaging wherever possible. If your product does arrive damaged, please get in touch with us as soon as possible (make sure to include photos of the product and packaging) so we can best help you.

How can I check the status of my order?

 

You should receive an email notification once your order has been lodged with Australia Post. In this email you will find your tracking number, if you don't receive an order packed notification or can't locate your tracking number, please get in touch with us by email.
