The Distillery

Ultra-modern distilling

With a vision to demystify the world of spirits, Earp Distilling Co was born from a passionate pursuit. For founder and head distiller Michael Earp, the idea behind the distilling process has always been driven by experimentation and a natural curiosity.

The dream of creating ‘Next Generation Spirits’ is at the heart of what we do here at Earp Distilling Co. We believe in the ‘next’ and the ‘now’ and by harnessing new distillation technology and state-of-the-art equipment, we’re able to take a holistic approach to the craft.

Next generation equipment

The done thing, done differently

When initial plans were drawn for the distillery, our team had the chance to do things a little differently. We wanted to question the norms of distilling and in true Earp style have never been afraid to ask why done is done.

Unlike traditional stills our next generation equipment is made from high-quality stainless steel and is destined to outlast copper counterparts by decades. This makes them easy to clean, and maintain, all without the need for toxic chemicals.

Meet the Distiller

At the helm

Meet our head distiller and man at the helm, Michael Earp. Being no stranger to hard work and pursuing projects a little left of field, for Michael, it’s all about a passionate pursuit towards creating a world class distillery in his hometown of Newcastle.

Known for being famously hands on, for Michael, an ethos of work hard, play hard, is always at the forefront.

Botanicals

Earp-ssential ingredients

Crucial to the overall flavour journey of our spirits, the botanicals we select are from the finest growers from all over the world, as well as native botanicals from our own backyard. We continuously experiment with new botanicals, tinctures and distillates - which means new flavour experiences are always just around the corner.
