HOW TO DISPOSE OF YOUR POUCHES
Spout pouches are tough, durable and flexible, offering a cost-effective and protected method of transporting liquids in the post without all the bubble-wrap and extra packaging.
Made from PET (polyethelene terepthalate) which is inert at normal temperatures to ensure spirit flavour is not affected, each refill pack is just 120 microns thick (approximately 20 times thinner than glass bottles), using less raw materials, energy and water to produce than glass and are incredibly durable.
Cutting down on waste has never been more important. Our refill pouches can be recycled through the RedCycle soft plastic program who have teamed up with Coles, Woolworths and some of Australia's most-loved brands to make it easy to keep soft plastics out of landfill. By disposing of your refill pouches in a RedCycle bin near you, your waste will be turned into one of the following:
- Recycled plastic benches, decking and signage by Replas. - Reconophalt road paving by Close The Loop (1km of Reconophalt uses approximately 530,000 plastic shopping bags, 168,000 glass bottles and 12,500 waste printer toner cartridges) - Mini wheel stops, I beams for transport, garden edging and cable covers by Plastic Forests.
