Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How can I get to your distillery?
A. The easiest way to get to Earp Distilling Co. in Carrington is via car. We have ample street parking available, and for Uber, Didi, or other ride share drop off. Please remember never to drink and drive. If you’re arriving via public transportation, the closest bus line is the 24, and the closest stop is on the corner of Bourke Street & Hargrave Street. Carrington is a wonderful neighbourhood for cycling should you choose to arrive by bike.
Q. Do you run any non-alcoholic versions of your experiences, or have non-alc options in classes?
A. At this time, all of our classes are centred around the experience of alcohol, but we are hard at work investigating how we can offer more options to include those who don't drink (did someone say seltzer?). Earp Distilling Co. offers tasty and inspired mocktails in our bar & restaurant, as well as soft drinks. The Earp Distillery has a rich history that diners can enjoy without the emphasis on alcohol.
Q. Are your classes accessible? What can I expect as a person with a disability visiting?
A. Our venue aims to be as accessible as possible and welcomes feedback on how we can continue to improve. The distillery is a single story, with ramps and unobstructed paths throughout making access easier for those with mobility aides including wheelchairs. We have a single-occupant accessible restroom, as well as ambulant toilets in each of the gendered restrooms. We have low table options, and large text menus available in our front bar and restaurant. Our venue can become rather noisy on weekend nights and in peak season, so if you have sensory issues related to sound you may want to call ahead.
Our experiences all include a portion of verbal explanation by our staff, but we are working on supplemental written instructions - please ask our staff during your visit if you require assistance with how our instructions are presented. Please be aware that there is no option for audio guides but we welcome you to include a translator in your group.
Q. I have a voucher from one of your old experiences - how can I book your new classes?
A. If you have an old voucher or a voucher that isn't working online for any reason, it's best you ring our distillery's main office at 02 8317 5777 with your voucher number handy. We can reassign your voucher's value to a new class or discuss your options and book you in over the phone. You can also reach out via experiences@earpdistillingco.com
