Where is Earp Distilling Co. located?
We’re at 41 Darling Street, Carrington NSW 2294 — a short drive from Newcastle CBD, Australia.
What are your opening hours?
We’re closed Monday and Tuesday. We're open on Wednesday 12pm–5pm, Thursday 12pm–10pm, Friday 12pm–late, Saturday 11am–late, and Sunday 12pm–5pm.
Please note that our kitchen typically closes 1hr prior to close, or at 10pm.
How do I get to the distillery?
The easiest way is by car, with street parking nearby and room for rideshare drop-offs. If you’re dining with us Friday to Sunday, you can also book a seat on our Courtesy Bus. The closest public bus route is the 24, stopping at Bourke & Hargrave Streets.
Can I book a table at the distillery restaurant and bar?
Yes — reservations can be made online any time, and walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.
Please keep an eye on our social media channels for any notices about non-standard hours or venue closures.
Do you offer distillery tours or tasting experiences?
Yes. We offer Tasting Flights every day of the week. We run many hands-on experiences including our Blending Class (make your own bottle) and Spirit School (man the stills, become distiller for the day) - for individuals, couples and private groups.
Can I host a function, party or wedding at Earp Distilling Co.?
Yes - our Barrel Hall function spaces accommodate 30–300 guests, with tailored food, beverage and distilling-experience packages for weddings, birthdays and corporate events. For groups under 30, we have spaces available in the Distillery Bar & Restaurant perfect for your intimate celebration.
Is the venue accessible?
The distillery is single storey, with ramps and clear paths throughout. A single-occupant accessible restroom is available, as well as ambulant toilets in each of the gendered restrooms. Low table options and large-text menus are available in our Bar & Restaurant. It can get noisy on weekend nights and in peak season, so if you have sound sensitivities you may want to call ahead.
Are children welcome at your distillery?
Visitors under 18 are welcome at the distillery, but all underage visitors and/or children will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult and cannot approach the bar area. We offer a kids menu for guests 12 and under.
Although we offer a non-alcoholic Blending Class, this experience is only suitable to guests 18+
Can I bring my dogs to the distillery?
Unfortunately, we are not a pet-friendly venue. Service animals are always welcome but dogs/pets cannot come inside the distillery, nor do we offer outdoor accomodations.

Yes, we ship our spirits across Australia, with free shipping on orders over $150.
